Butternut planks are great for large signs such as bar signs or indoor business signs. They have bark on two sides and engrave a nice deep brown. Keep in mind there is a butternut canker destroying these trees which will limit their availability in the future, so if you're thinking of having one of these made, you might want to order while they're still available. Sizes range from 8" wide to 18" wide and up to 32" long. Prices vary with availability but generally run between $50 - $100.
